10 Days & Counting

Well, we've started counting down the days.

Soon we'll be loading up the trailers, the trucks, the camper...

The 5 of us are heading west for Easter, settling hubby into his new apartment, meeting with our Colorado realtor (met with our WI one last Friday), and visiting my Colorado aunt & uncle for Easter dinner. The kids & I plan to stay for 2 weeks and then head back to the Northwoods to tie up loose ends before Memorial Day.

Then it's off to the Rocky Mountains to set up house!

Steve's apartment is right at the National Park, shouting distance from his job site. He'll be able to ride his bike to work it's so close. Our duplex is set up on a hill overlooking the lake, with a 360 degree unobstructed view of wilderness. God is so good! I was afraid we be stuck in town, cramped in an apartment. Instead He's placed us within walking distance from work, activities galore at the National Park, and can you believe it?! There is a restaurant right there at the marina of the Park, and they're looking for servers! Could it get any better?!

Well, I'm still pinching myself, because a year ago I would have laughed in your face if you would have said we'd be moving west.

Unbelievable...

Holy Cow! I'm Going Home!

This seriously is going to be a short post, as I've got about 6 months of preparation to cram into 6 weeks.

Steve got the job in Gunnison, CO.
He reports to work mid-April.
Our house is going on the market next week-ish.
Our business is too.
Steve has been selling his 20+ year collection of treasures only guys can appreciate.
I don't know where to start!
